Rubber
I too had dismissed this watch, but a friend bought a 5165 and I got to take a closer look at it. Disaster! I quickly bought a 5167 and love it. The rubber strap is very comfortable to a point that you don;t even feel you;re wearing a watch at all. I happen to like the design of the watch because of its history and contrariness against the conservative designs of most Pateks. But you get a beautiful movement and some terrific details almost regardless of where you look on the watch - white gold borders around the numerals, almost perfect anglage, and subtle changes on the case from polished to brushed ss. I might one day consider a leather strap, but for now the rubber is perfect.

I bought mine both with the stainless steel bracelet and the rubber strap. After trying both on at the AD I decided to give a go to the bracelet first, and I must say it is fantastic. I like it better than the bracelets of the former Aquanaut models. I do...
