Hey guys. I'm interested in buying a sporty watch which can be "knocked about" and was seriously considering the IWC 7-Day Power Reserve and the Breguet Marine Automatic Big Date... until my AD suggested the Patek 5167. To be honest, I had brushed it off ... 

I've had the rubber strap because the SS bracelet did not excist at the time I bought the 5167. If I could choose today I would take the SS bracelet. I just don't like rubber straps and that's why I replaced it with a leather strap. The leather strap was ...  

Bruno, thanks for sharing. Thanks for sharing. Your watch looks great. I think you can even wear it with a suit. Why would would want a SS bracelet for it? Yea, I'm a little hesitant about the rubber strap esp. since I have haven't seen what it looks like... 

It is the most comfortable watch i've EVER WORN The 5167 rubber strap is more rounded than the previous model. I myself have NO desire to dress it up, it is to me a casual watch afterall.

I too had dismissed this watch, but a friend bought a 5165 and I got to take a closer look at it. Disaster! I quickly bought a 5167 and love it. The rubber strap is very comfortable to a point that you don;t even feel you;re wearing a watch at all. I happ...

any idea if a 5165 and a 5167 share the same deploynant buckle though the lug size of rubber is diff for the 38mm vs the 40mm? any info appreciated!

The deployants for 5165 & 7 "look" identical. It would make sense on such a low volume watch to use the same part.

This is one of the most comfortable watches in my collection. Look great even with shirt....

I bought mine both with the stainless steel bracelet and the rubber strap. After trying both on at the AD I decided to give a go to the bracelet first, and I must say it is fantastic. I like it better than the bracelets of the former Aquanaut models. I do...
