Created in 2009, this watch from the Rare Handcrafts Collection features a cloisonné enamel dial made by Anita Porchet. If you look at the 8 to 9 o'clock position, you'll notice "A. Porchet" which indicates that the entire piece was produced by her. An "AP" would indicate partial involvement.

The watch is around 38mm in diameter and around 9mm in thickness. The closest I got to identifying the butterfly is that it looks like the Lesser Wanderer (Danaus petilia); if anyone knows what it is for certain, please do chime in.

It seems relatively rare to see platinum Rare Handcraft pieces, as opposed to gold, which is surprising to me. I wish they more platinum RH pieces were available.🤔

Great pic! Wear it in the best of health! (And I would have guessed that it's the artist's take on a monarch butterfly.)

Look what I saw today!
