PP 5296 sectoral dial vs RD Hommage cal RD14
Hi all,
i posted this question in the general forum but i fail to receive any response at all. So, i just have to try my luck here.
i am looking to buy either of the watches mentioned. Asthetically, i prefer RD. However, info on the reliabilty of its new movement RD14 is limited. - read somewhere that watches having this movement were recalled when it was first released. Has this issue been resolved? Also, could someone enlighten me on the after sales service of RD knowing very well (from what i have read from you guys in this forum) that the services of PP are second to none. If i buy PP, it would be my first. I dont want to be in the situation later that i bought RD but unhappy with the reliability of the watch or its services. I know some PP owners also own or at least thought of owning RD, and hence i thought this is the right place to seek for advice. I am actually looking at watches that i could show off (to girls at least 
) but which is of high quality as well. If not, i could have just bought FM without thinking. But i want to be a rational consumer and watch collector.
