Platinum Deployant Weight

I am trying to determine the weight of the platinum deployant clasp and compare it to the white gold deployant clasp to see if it would serve as an effective counterbalance for my heavy 5905P platinum case. The white gold deployant weighs 15 grams— does anyone on here own a platinum deployant they could weigh?

I called HSWA and they said they do not have the weights nor a scale to weigh them.

Thank you

Assuming the two deployants are identical in appearance and do not utilize any other materials, the ratio of their weights will be equal to the ratio of their densities. And, as John points out, Platinum is 1.42X the density of 18K gold. So if the gold de...

Very helpful guys, thank you. [nt]
