Patek Philippe

Patek never had a crisis !!!

Many thanks for your hint that the Swiss Franc!

Made me think a bit more about it and my conclusion is this:

PP kept prices up and asked all the ADs the same in Swiss Franc.

And as this complete farce called bank crisis unfolded with it's new propaganda perverted language ( toxic assets, subprime --> I wonder sometimes

if anybody on this planet has ever read 1984 by Orwell  ???) we saw currency rates fluctuate, sales of watches plummet.

PP though still asked for the same although the Swiss Franc stayed stable and went up quite a lot against all others.

Car manufacturers, for instance, did not: a BMW costs in the UK  the same as in Germany, although the £ has also lost substantially!

Out of this reason and the continuous, traditional 5-9% yearly increase PP kept revenue constant or most likely did more profit during the

"watch crisis" from 2008 - 2010.

As I mentioned before: I am very happy to have gone for my Patek in 2008, before all this happened ...

Moritz
