Thank you to replying to my questions in my yesterday's thread about the dial and hands. The watch was actually tested with a UV black light and indeed, both - the hands and the dial are tritium. They glow with same intensity under the UV light and are fading equally 👍🍻👍 (Luminova replacement/service hands would glow much brighter and fade later).
I have tried on 5167A and I like it, but there is something special about this older 5065 model with all it's quirks, such as chunky grenade dial, some hour markers being weirdly tilted, totally weird angles on bracelet links, patina starting to show on the dial etc. I guess thats why I also love my 1675 GMT & 1680 Red Sub. There is of course something special about new and pristine watches....but there is also something undeniably charming about some watches with their *older and weird* traits.
To me, this one is certainly one of them and its 38mm is just an absolute sweet spot for my 6.5" wrist.
