Not sure what you meant by accuracy issue of the 324
I have a 324 movement in my 5711 for almost a year, said movement being similar to the 5167.
I never seem to notice any time accuracy issue.
However, I have watch winders for both my 5711 and my 5205, which I run simultaneously.
For several months, I noticed that the time reflected on my 5205 as it rotates on my winder has always been correct, never stopped and continued to be spot on.
On the other hand, the time reflected on my 5711 as it rotates the winder has not been accurate, with both time and dates messed up and delayed by 2 days after one week.
So I do not know if the movement in the 5205 is better than the 5711. Both winders' battery has the same life.

You will get scratches - if you wear any watch you will get scratches. Mine has got a large gouge in the bezel that was inflicted by me when putting a bag in the overhead storage bin on a flight. Who cares? I don't pamper my watches as they're meant to be...
