unfortunately I can’t say the same for myself. I agree completely about loving the pieces and not an investment scenario.
From what I’ve seen, these rare handcrafts pieces don’t really appreciate much anyway, I’m talking about time only watches.

for me too! depends on the watch of course. Such a watch requires you to love the artistic representation and understand these rare metiers d'art. In the past I have seen some from the similar line of Vacheron.
+1, definitely not big investments pieces! To be honest (and very quick on this topic), it seems unlikely to "lose" with a (Patek) Rare Handcraft, which is obviously one of the (many) considerations one can make when nontrivial sums are involved.
However, especially compared to the premiums other Patek models notoriously command, investing/speculating in a Rare Handcraft definitely would NOT be my suggestion! These are watches that should be bought primarily for their artistic/horological signific...

Hi Jim, this specific reference has unfortunately long been allocated (it's from the 175th Anniversary, and Patek assigned these Rare Handcrafts to private collections between 2014 and 2015).
Coincidentally, you can currently find one on sale on a known platform (a slightly different dial, but from the same Anniversary series of four engraved 5089Gs...). Beware, to be honest, that due to their extremely limited production, these Rare Handcraft...
