Patek Philippe

+1, definitely not big investments pieces! To be honest (and very quick on this topic), it seems unlikely to "lose" with a (Patek) Rare Handcraft, which is obviously one of the (many) considerations one can make when nontrivial sums are involved.

However, especially compared to the premiums other Patek models notoriously command, investing/speculating in a Rare Handcraft definitely would NOT be my suggestion! These are watches that should be bought primarily for their artistic/horological significance, since they represent a niche production that in my view has no comparisons with other models....then, if one day (which I hope will NEVER arrive in my case) you get tired of them or your interests simply change, just pass them on to another collector, but assume you'll get your money back (with interests) and not a cent more! smile

Cheers.
