I have never owned or wanted to own a Calatrava until this one. It really is a great looking sport watch unlike other Calatravaβs. I am wearing it at work and will wear it to the golf course tomorrow. Canβt stop looking at it!!!
I still don't have an exact delivery date, I was told it will arrive early next week. I was speaking to a showroom manager and he said very limited number came to the UK and they only got 8 pieces between their 6 showrooms in the UK and Ireland.
I will definitely post some pictures once I pick this up. The AD is in a different town (the local AD refused to sell watches to me) and only able to go there end of the month due to work situation.
Love the color of the dial and strap. Wear it in good health! Huge Congrats! One of the hardest limited editions to purchase due to so many client interests. Your AD relationship must be at the VVIP level...π
It is easy to find lots of very vocal 6007A critics on the internet. I wonder if they have changed their minds now that it has become one of the hottest, most desirable, watches in the world??π

In essence no, it is a Calatrava. However PP have introduced a few new features which differentiate - colour scheme, dial design and central decoration, strap design. Would they have done all this on a standard production piece, Iβm not sure.

But any one of the more modern Calatrava references that we are going to see is likely to, in my opinion, be more successful than the older, classical line. This is a big, long-term project for Patek, and so far they couldn't have started any more success...
