This is a good idea..  My AD sold 3 pieces "ever"  ..  2 in WG one in RG ..  That adds up to about one per year supporting your theory...  and they are a reasonably good sized (volume) dealer.

So now that it appears 5970 production has stopped, does anyone have a clue about the actual production numbers, number of pieces produced? Anonymous insider tips and second hand hearsay would be most welcome here I understand the Patek 5970 (2004-2008) p...

Shoot, I meant "Patek 5970 production is still "HIGHER" .. not lower than 2499 .. sorry I misspoke

The 5970 was announced at Basel 2004, but from what I can tell (using forums such as these), 5970s were not available for purchase until late 2004. (If anyone can contradict this please do so!). PP's price lists released in early January 2008 deleted refe...
