Congratulations! If your intent was a daily Patek beater for most occasions, then you certainly made the right choice. Case-to-wrist fits you very well too, I think the other considerations may be a tad small

That is the intent! Below are pics of 5205 and 5130, both of which I think fit my wrist well.

The 5205G looks good for a smart causal cum formal watch, while the 5130 is a little more formal I feel ... both are excellent reference in their own right and are Patek classics

Sincere congrats on your first Patek -- while as you said it's impossible to go wrong with the brand, you've made an excellent and very versatile choice with this 5524G! Time to enjoy it thoroughly! ;-)
