I know am going against the crowd's sentiment here but I have never found 3700 appealing in person. I have come across the piece 4 times in last decade and spent some time with it on every occasion, knowing its a trending collectible piece but couldnt condition myself to commit to one. Patek+Nautilus History+Heritage+Originality etc all put together still cudn't win over that lack of passion it failed to invoke. I walked away thinking I 'd rather fund a piece that i find appealing at the least. Rather own another Chagall than a Monet - rather own a Monet than a Renoir if I am going to look at it every day doesnt matter if Renoir is most rare or collectible.
