...perhaps the enamel colors "pop" out more (similar to what Nico mentioned) On the other hand, 5131J in its dial has more green which matches the yellow gold case better 5131 came out in 2008 and only the J version was produced until (I think) 2009 or 20... 

in my opinion!! if you search ebay, currently you will find four 5131s; out of which 3 are J; go figure:-))) my guess is they are either equal in numbers or J may be a bit more due to longer production run. Both are fabulous pieces IMHO; given a chance an...

that is an honest opinion from somebody who has one ! I appreciate it your comments on not being worth the hype ! Indeed a watch doesn't have to cost 2 times the list price on the second hand market. Maybe years after being discontinued but not when still...
