There are very few Patek models which would not disappoint under those circumstances. One could come up against that scenario awaiting allocation of a Nautilus/Aquanaut/5270/5370 or hot watch of the moment. We Patek owners/collectors/enthusiasts are in a tiny bubble. One of the more mentally healthy moves would be to acquire a Patek (at an AD, used/trade, grey, etc.) that you love then get the heck off the internet! LOL. Have a life-long love affair with your Patek. Grow old with it and appreciate more every year. The most heart warming watch posts I read are when a person saves for a very long time and acquires the piece he/she loves. Then disappears to treasure it in private. What is not heart warming is when someone gets distraught over value retention or exclusivity. We Patek owners are already uber exclusive (in our choice to direct funds toward this brand) whether we want to be or not. The only place in the world we aren't exclusive is on this specific forum.
