Call me grumpy, but I think these people who flip their watches so quickly should be banned from buying limited edition Patek's for a long time. These "dealers" obviously do not love the watches any more than the money they can make out of them. Since these watches were sold only at the Patek boutique, it should be easy for Patek to identify these jokers and ban them from any limited edition or desirable watches.
When simple collectors such as myself are waiting in line for mundane watches like the 5711, 5712 and 5980 these exotic pieces should not be showing up for quick profit at public auction less than six months after they were sold.
