Lange 1815 vs Patek Calatravas

I am torn about making a major purchase / investment between the A. Lange & Sohne 1815 model and the Patek Philippe Calatravas model.  I can only afford one, and can not seem to make up my mind.  First, I find the Lange model to be much nicer looking with an incrediable appealing display back in rose gold. The Patek looks very basic in style and design, and the back is plain solid gold like most watches in gold. I do want a fine watch, and among my collection I have a : Ulysse Nardin Michaelangelo, Daniel Roth Metroplotian, Ebel Voyager, Rolex Datejust, Rolex Cellini, Mont blanc Star, IWC Da Vinci, and a Corum Buckingham.  Between the Lange and the Patek, which is recommended?  Which one would be a better investment? I just noticed that there are more Calatravas then 1815 watches out there. I appreciate your advice, Thank you.
