If a gasket fails, and it was checked and everything, then surely that's a huge embarassment for Patek. That means they should take accountability for the improper sealing of the watch, assuming they touched it last, of course. My Blancpain has never had a problem.

I still put all my aquanaut and nautilus under water (even 5164R), no issues so far 👌🏻

It's important to realize that the standard used by the Swiss watch industry has changed.
In the past, the watch industry used a standard that basically said you shouldn't go swimming with a watch unless it has 100M water resistance or more. Now, the watch industry says a watch with 30 M water resistance should survive swimming at 30M. Now... ...
