Inspired by HSTE's Nautilus thread
Mark suggested I post these pics of my 3700/011 again in a new thread. I posted these as a reply yesterday after seeing HSTE's thread of his 3700/01.
A little background: I got my 3700/011 recently this year. It came from the original first owner. It had gone through a full overhaul before the owner sold it. So it looks in very good condition. Truthfully I have spent most of the summer wearing a different watch that has a strong hold on me so I've not worn the Nautilus enough to really bond to it. Hopefully over time. It is very easy to photograph under natural sunlight. I went out yesterday to take some pics with my little girl at a park (divided equally of course between pics of her and of my Nautilus). Luckily the park was not very populated so no one could have thought why there was a crazy man taking pictures of his watch while his little girl ran around unsupervised...
(Forgive the dust on the watch, I was not smart enough to bring a soft cloth to wipe my Nautilus)

I'll join with my 3700-001 & 3700-011. These watches moved in with us very close to each others. I had decided very much earlier to get both versions but with strict conditions: - with all original papers like Certificate of Origin and manual - with origi...

3700 was produced from 1976 and discontinued some 10 years later while 5711 has been in production since 2006. Some of the main differences are: - 3700 is having a great JLC based movement - same as used e.g. in AP's 15202 while 5711 is having a manufactu...
