so you may be better off researching online by Googling those keywords "Patek 3700" "Patek 5711".
Here is my poor man's explanation:
3700 is the original reference that is discontinued, now about 40 years old. more precisely, it was 3700/01A. I have the 3700/011A which was made a few years after the 3700/01A. It used a thin calibre from JLC back when no one really cared about in-house movements.
5711 is the current generation successor in production, now about 10 years old. It has an Patek built movement that is slightly thicker and a sapphire glass display case back.

I think 3712 needs a lot of understanding.
It looks so similar than 5712 but at the same time 3712 is so totally different. I'm mostly speaking about the case. Best, Kari
haha yes i love the beauty found in nature :-)
but nature is normally not permanent. Flowers live a few days or weeks. Lucky for us, beautiful timepieces can live forever if taken cared for.
