Love the overall look. Very classy and elegant. And the cream dial adds a subtle diversion. The rose gold is good too, but the rose color enhances the cream dial more than I would l want it to, making it appear a little more yellow. Like your 5056, it is ...

Amanico I read what you say & I mainly agree. You mention that it is a complication that stops half way in comparison to a Perpetual Calendar, which is true. But then again a PC is also very nearly double the price!! I love my 5146J, though if I could of ...

Hi Nicolas, I don't agree with you and here is why: What do you have to do with an annual calendar that you don't have to do with a perpetual calendar? Once a year (and no more) you have to set the date. Then the magic of a perpetual calendar is superior,... 

Of the PC is more appealing than the conception of the AC.. If I follow you, even a simple Date is as useful as a PC or an AC...As it gives you the date, and as you have to wind and set the hour each time you want to wear a watch you didn't wear for a lon...

And what does an annual calendar get you more than a simple calatrava with date? A Calatrava you have to change at most once every two months. And it takes about as much effort as pushing a chronograph button - a bit of "interaction" with a watch that man... 

I also think the 5056 is the best of the annuals. Love the roman numerals, sublime moon, and the power reserve is better than in the current lineup. But alas it seems a bit small for my wrist. Yours looks perfect however. Congrats, Nat

It has the days of each month laid-out around the outer edge, so it compensates for 30 vs 31 day months. You just have to adjust it for february, which is how I understand an annual cal. A Zoom in on the rim might make it make more sense: You can see the ...  

Definitly a FANTASTIC AC!! According to Christies, there were only about 300 5056P's ever made during the years of its production...cool!

If I had a Yacht like the one shown in the photo. I wouldn't have to worry about a Annual or Perpetual Calendar. Because I would go straight onto - hopefully the waiting list for a 5970G What a gorgeous andawesome looking Yacht, anymore photos?
