Patek Philippe

Folks, this Patek was on Friday in my Arm: I was impressed with the watch, only two complaints: - if I remember well, the watch hasn't got a second-stop mechanism, which I find a litlle bit strange, especially in this quality and price range - the opening...  

3700, 3710, 3712, 5711 and 5980. A 5711 is on order. I have been thinking about this AC for a longer time. I will still wait and see what kind of versions will be introduced as a part of 40th anniversary collection but if nothing exciting comes, it's the ... 

I think it is less popular than the 5711 / 5712 / 5980, but to me it's a gorgeous watch with great complications. You're right, it comes with white or greay dial. Concerning the clasp, I guess it is the same as on my 5980 which is indeed too hard to open.... 

It\'s on the thicker side, so something to bear in mind. I find the clasp on my 5980 very easy to open, you just have to get used to doing it. It\'s the 40th anniversary of the nautilus this year, so we are all expecting to see something new. If you are n... 

I still cannot make up my mind about Nautilus, I have mixed feelings about it. I like the dial although not the date arrangement on this particular reference. I am not that keen on the ears of the watch even though I know that is what makes Nautilus, Naut... 

since I took my 5712. The 2 reasons why I didn't take the 5726 grey dial was that it was thicker and I perfer the look of the thinner Nautiluses (5711/5712) compared to the thicker references (5726/5980/5990). A matter of taste only. And that I already ju...  

As I too like the 5726 very much but it fell a slight second behind the 5712 and struggle to justify both in my small collection at this point. White or dark dial is tough choice as both have so much character but it it was in addition to a 5712 would hav... 

Cannot say that much about the watch but if it speaks to you, you are unlikely to be far wrong

but it's really up to your personal preference when spending this kind of money. As for the stop seconds, I had to turn it slightly CCW and hold it there to make it stop as to synchronize, which I hope it's ok. I also agree you have to pry the clasp to op...  

Between the 2, I'd choose the white one.
