Your logic makes absolute sense. The depreciation of a Merc C180 over a period of 5 years can be about 40-50k SGD which is approx 29 to 36k USD. Enough to buy some serious stuff. I have posted a thread over at time out previously on this issue.

because it brings a huge smile to their face every time they drive it. I know lots of people that buy exactly what they like and never think twice about it value when it comes to watches. I just do the same thing with my car which are toys to me
