If you go inside the thread, or of course to the auction listing, you’ll find the name of the well-known AD involved in this sale, just to get a sense (I eliminated that picture from the OP, since this shouldn’t be the purpose of this thread).
I’m all for (actual, non-substantive!) due process, and I am sure this AD will be given a fair chance to explain their position. But it is hard for me to envision a realistic scenario in which this sale should have taken place😄

Why Double Seal Patek still exists in 2023???
I was at Christie's auction preview and saw this 5726/1A under double seal. The sales date is FEB 2023, less than 2 months old. Does Patek allow this double-seal practice again? [Commercial link eliminated — FabR (moderator)] ...

I remember when lightly used 5826 on leather was 32k. Was going to get one but at the time too much for me to spend.

please can anybody explain to me a meaning of this packing?
This packaging (double-sealed) means that the
watch was sold to the buyer without the AD opening the wrappings at all. Such inaction by the AD is against Patek's policies because an unsealed watch is conducive to "flipping", such as this situation.
Horology stuff, high or low, should be enjoyed on the wrist, not left sealed in a box as a mere investment.
For this simple reason, it’s been several years that Patek Philippe requires its ADs to fully unseal a watch (both the outer and the inner packaging) before consigning it to its owner. The outer box should then be discarded. That being said, unfortunately...

SHOCKED 😳 by the huge number of double sealed recent years Pateks sold by a BIG AD ! 😭 ...
The AD doesn’t even bother to cover their details?
My AD keeps even the plastic wrappers 😂😂 never mind those boxes. They are very strict about it. Not a pleasant thing to say but makes you wonder if these were sold above the RRP right?
FYI, at the viewing, there is a book that shows photocopies of the certificates to demonstrate authenticity.
The owners' names and addresses are covered off but not the ADs.

All of these are from the SAME AD?? Wow!! Maybe they know they are being axed just like that other guy who sold the 5711 green dial sealed! 😂
Yes, as far as I could check the double-sealed ones were mostly from
one AD which is a large one and is not on the chopping board.
Rules don't apply to those sperical connected Bankers.
We have to follow the rules and wait...... Did you see the guy got 3 steel Aqu from the oldest AD (Central, HK) in 1 week on Nov. 2022. They dated the certificate 3 continuous day in a row. That looked so bad for that famous AD.
Shameful dealers and short sighted watchmakers.
The whole idea of people enjoying beautiful watches has been abandoned.
