I would separate
my investment funds from the funds I spend on watches which is for pleasure, as you will soon learn the cost of pleasure when its comes to watches can be very high. I was reading in Patek's book on minute repeaters they made maybe 20 minute repeaters from 1925 thru 1945 and these are rare. Now they make 50 a year. Rarity equals value. Modern watches are not rare and have hugh dealer markups, whether new or used.
