In fact I've been a very long RR fan, even if the modern times are not as appealing as the past (but I love the Phantom).
Pre-war I particularly appreciate RR and Bugatti (Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Voisin coming only after).
So RR was my reference of excellence.
Charles Stewart Rolls was a real sportsman ( to the extent that he was the first English man killed in an aircraft crash).
Luxury and sport, that's it!

flirted with the 5712 idea (Nicolas was kind enough to let me "play" with it)..... However, I prefer the 5711 for its simple sporty elegance..... (the chrono nautilus would be an option but it has quite a price tag.... one subdial chronos though are mesme...

The Nautilus is without a doubt a very impressive and well made watch but the term tool watch takes it perhaps a bit too far. That is like taking your Rolls to the local Home Depot to get some lumber and nails... Of course it is possible.... Kind of remin...

love the watch. still kept in right proportions unlike the other Genta creation the APRO, which has mothed into a monster size. the 5711 is a really versatile watch and suit most occasions...under the sleeves, in tees, business suit etc etc.

5960 combines everything.... granted, it is a bit thick, but it may also be worn as a dress watch.... (not as much as 5070 or 5170) Personally I prefer manual watches so I would want it to be manual..... Cheers
