Dear all, I would like to change the moonphase setting of my 5159 PC but without changing the time and date that are correct. The instructions say to set the time at 6 AM but I assume that, in fact, I should just avoid doing it between 8PM and 2AM. Any ot...  

For moonphase, it's important to do it in the AM sometime around 3AM to 8AM. In my opinion. The moonphase mechanism in most annual and perpetual calendars is moving right around 10AM. I wouldn't adjust anything 8PM to 2AM.

any of the complicated pieces at 6am as the factory as recommended. It's not so much that some deviations are okay but it's the consistency which is important. If you learn to do it the right way at the beginning and continue that process going forward, t... 

That the moon phase makes its daily adjustment, in the morning between 09.00 - 11.30 hrs.
