Folks, All my collection thus far are steal sports style watches. Trying to venture out into the casual precious metal dress watch world. I am currently on the wait list for a PP 5226G. I also like the VC Traditionnelle manual winding 38mm pink gold. Any ...

To qualify my opinion just a tad, I find the VC more elegant and classically beautiful than the 5226G. Again, it is entirely in the eye of the beholder. Good luck, Filip

Of my recently purchased PP 5226G. I think it’s a excellent everyday choice for a watch. I guess people will also consider it a dress watch. I think if you see it in person it will be it will be hard to resist.

must be faith, I responded to your post before seeing your comment on mine. I love the watch, it beautiful and very accurate. It looks great in natural and artificial light. The strap that it comes with is long.

the dial has a vintage look to me, which I very much adore. I have relatively small wrist so definitely need to order shorter straps if I choose to go this route.

But also prefer the VC. Have you considered the American 1921? That may be a more casual watch and for what you’re looking for. And it’s gorgeous. If I ever needed a dressier watch, that’s on the short list.

except I wear my watch on my right hand so that model is kind of strange that way.

The vc more of elegance, the pp more of a modern piece. I am biased, as vc traditionelle has been a favorite of mine since release. The dial to me is perfect, the case is pure VC DNA, the movement well finished. I came very close to getting the RG green d...

I like both the pink and platinum versions of the VC. The Patek seems to fall into a category all of its own. I have seen the Vacheron in person, and have seen the Patek in videos. I find the Patek to be more interesting - a bit futuristic. Whichever you ...

Better aesthetics, proportions and architecture/purity of movement. Even Kari Voutilainen had analyzed and commented on the movement when it was released in a very favourable manner. I am also highly confident the level of manual (vs machine) finishing of...  

affirmation from current owners. Again, seems majority of members voted for VC. If not for the mystic of owning a PP, the choice seems obvious.
