Noticed the “red” 4 leap year yesterday. Nice touch. Or maybe that’s common for all Patek Perpetual Calendar and I just knew that. Loved it. Have a good weekend everyone! ...  

It’s easy to miss. The “Red 4” is a feature that I really enjoy. Happy New Year! I hope that 2020 treats you right! ...  

I miss mine which is sitting at the bank and i could not enjoy the year change ... I was too much hypnotised by my new 5231 that i forgot the magic of a perpetual calendar on new year's eve night

To see this crazy set of wheels doing its magic .... (and now i really believe we are crazy to spend so much for something that we expect and see in action for some minutes once every 4 years !)

That’s what makes it so GREAT! Every 4 years it’s a really big deal!

It’s nice that, as an additional reminder, they put the leap year indicator “4” in red. It catches the eye. On the other hand, the one thing that makes a perpetual so special is that in the leap year it jumps from 28 feb to 29 feb than to 1 march, hence t... 

Patek has a red “1” while AP’s perpetual has a red “31”. I reckoned it’s the accent colouring that makes the dial interesting.
