Love an opinion stated strongly and supported with horological and other experience. You make me want to order both a PT and RG 5960 tomorrow, though not sure I agree with your thought that the 5960 will be such an icon of this era. But I do agree now is ...

Thanks for your analysis on 5960...It is really an important milestone in Patek history! Frankly, as far as I observed, most people bought this watch in a flipped price during the "hot days" in 2008...Thank God, there is cooling on the Patek fever in rece...

I agree with you on the 5960. I've been lucky enough to be able to wear some of Patek's modern Icons (5102,5101,5970, ect) and yet the one I find myself longing for is the 5960R. I saw it for the first time in person last week and it was instant love. At ...

There's a limit to the water resistance of a watch. For instance, a watch may be depth rated to 30 meters, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can swim in 3 meters of water with it on. Why? The turbulence caused by your arm moving in the water exer...
