i gather they changed to a different type
of bearing for the rotor to give longevity , i noticed it changed on the 324 calibre compared with the 315 calibre on previous aquanauts I've owned and now also with the my current nautilus.Personally i like the noise , gives it a character.

FYI I can hear the sound when I am driving sometimes, especially when you turn the steering. It is perfectly normal

I noticed the same thing with my 5980 and came here to ask if it was normal. Everyone assured me it was and I haven't had any issues with it. Enjoy your new watch.
