I always hated heavy watches
I am lucky to wear a 5066 on the bracelet and the strap. Although i prefer the appearance of this most gorgeous bracelet and its light weight, I admit that i am always astonished at the weight with the strap, as though my wrist is bare. I use it daily vs a jaeger gran sport duo in the operating room, and can tell you tthat an aquanaut is great for play, relaxed fit suiting,swimming, vacationing, etc. and a steel /white metal watch always attracts less nefarious attention than would the unabashed beauty of a calatrava in yellow or rose color. As a previous commentator remarked, the clasp is outstanding but requires appropriate length or pinches on the underside of the wrist. The bracelet is flawless. And, as above,l would have both if possible, 5115 or 5117 for date and crown guard.the weight is enough of an issue to make me hold off as i save for the 5712a. What do you guys think?

It all depends on your lifestyle. If sporty, then go for the Aquanaut.
If dressay, go for the Calatrava. In terms of comfort, I would say that the Aquanaut is a bit above the Calatrava, but I had a bad experience with mine ( 5196 P ) due to a too small strap. In terms of elegance, I regret my 5196P, though. Best, Nicolas

non-brainer. I have a 5196P and 5196R. This Calatrava is a great watch to wear. However, get a strap of the right length and then the watch feels good especially with a folding clasp. If the strap length is not correct, folding clasp feels uncomfortable. ...

And I can say without hesitation that the Aquanaut was definately the most comfortable to wear.

The Aquanaut to me is the most comfortable because of the rubber strap. You do not know you have it on. 5196G is to me a far better choice, classic PP but you need a bigger wrist for it as it appears big due to its thinness, despite its 37mm
