You'll be able to know more and decide when they give your the estimate but it is may be good to mention that you study both possibilities (refinishing or change).

took about 12 month. Mine was less than €1K, including a new leather strap and a buckle. Told them NOT to touch the dial and the hands. Result: PP did a great job! Good luck with yours.
