The 5712 was the entrance to the PP universe as well. Simply a great watch. After many years I still love like on the first day.

The wait was a long time not only because of the small Patek Philippe authorized dealer in Charlotte, NC (and their diminished allotment of 5712/1A per year compared to the amount of buyers on that AD's wait list) but also because the years seem to fly by... 

I feel blessed to be in such a tiny percentile of the watch community by owning a Patek!
