Having handled both on several occasions...
I would pick 5905 in a heartbeat. For me the 5905 sits much better on the wrist (my wrist for sure), and the case is fantastic.
I mean look at the value here: automatic annual calendar plus a rare and useful 60 minute chronograph plus Platinum.

5095 vs 5070
I’m looking for a Patek chronograph and love how the 5095 and 5070 both come in 42mm. For this reason alone, I’m not considering any of the smaller chronographs. The 5095 is an automatic chronograph with an annual calendar whereas the 5070 is a manual win...
The 5070 is probably more popular than the 5905 (I believe you mean 5905 rather than 5095?), but personally I don't like J gold and I do find the 5905R and P more appealing...
Also, especially if you plan on building a larger Patek collection and don't have an established AD relationship yet, the 5905 would be a great way to start one, since it's a good watch that is readily available at many ADs... Whichever your final choice,...

I would choose the 5070. And even if I am not a fan of colored gold watches, I must say that this yellow gold case / black dial combination is greatly eye catching.

Both are excellent chronographs.
One is classic yet not old fashioned, the other very innovative. Actually I like both, but if I could only pick one, I'd definitely take 5070. My reasons: movement, case, dial and the winding fun! Besides, 5070 is an important milestone in Patek's history...
