guilloché dial
Thank you for all the inputs. The reason why I am leaning to the stamp procedure is based on the following two observations:
1. Patek clearly state that the dial of 5098 is "crafted from a plate of gold and guillochéd by hand over its entire surface", while I can't find any official description on the dial making of both 5110 and 5130.
2. I am pretty sure that most Breguet dials are hand guillochéd. The cutting edges and forms of the guilloché are quite different from those of the 5110 dial.
Let me try to search for some better macro closeups for your comparison.

...has that capability, especially given that Patek is into old fashion artistic dial making. Since Brequet uses rose engines for guilloché, I would have guessed that Patek would do the same. Thanks, Gordon

rose engine it is
Have visited Patek factory last summer. They use guilloche rose engine to make those dials on all of their guilloche dial watches. Have seen 5130 dial being made that way, so I would assume 5110 dial is made the same way. Hope this helps

I would vouch for guilloche myself.....
I can't imagine that Patek Philippe would go for stamping on this piece. Just my opinion of course and by the way, what a beautiful watch this is! Cheers Francois from Down Under

The 5130 dial is guillochéd 100%! I have seen this myself as this dial being made at the Patek dial factory, last summer.
