all those vintage complications are a feast for the eye.
I actually lived over 10 years with a 5085/1A as my daily wearer. I love the under-the-radar appeal and it's super comfort. I remember, one of the biggest selling points made to me was the exact fact that at that time it was the ONLY steel complication from Patek and even more so with a black dial.

I think there is a solution
to convert 5960/1A to 5960A in a nice way. FedEx is bringing me this week one more strap made for this watch and on Friday I'll try to install that with a PP folding clasp. So let's see. But with bracelet or without, 5960A is a very nice every day complic...

Particularly the vintage ones… so desirable…. 5726 and 5960 in steel are great modern pieces as well. It is hard however to put them up in the same light as their legendary grandparents. Just a different league in my opinion… great post thanks for sharing...
