love the dial Color very much. The Arabic hour markers are my preferred choice for time only watch.

I like the fact it has no date and very casual, under the radar kind of watch, only few will know 😬

The 5522 is certainly more exclusive (600 pieces vs. several thousand and counting), and also less "commercial", which is more and more important to me. Actually, to be entirely open with you, this 5522 was offered to me at $55k in 2017...by a jeweler sit... 

In 2 weeks, probably pay a visit to the jeweler you mentioned who have great inventories 😜 I do agree this 5522 is less commercial 👍🏻 and I’m also not into buying over MSRP, as you can see with my pieces. Let’s keep this practice together. Thanks Fab. ...

Patek itself is trying to create a separate line for this and the 5524 and now the 5520 and future "Ref 55xx" - I would call this the Pilot series for Patek as they refer to it internally I believe But your message is right - the true Calatrava line, whic... 

I heard the newer 5524/7234R are quite popular, more so than the 5524G. I feel PP did the right thing to discontinue many Calatrava models this year, although I was hoping the 5196P to be gone but it stayed... Anyway, I’ll still enjoy the little heft too....

I'm a sucker for time-only watches as well as for retro-inspired pieces. I also love the dial and font on the Patek 55xx. The size imho would have been better 1-2mm smaller, although as a Pilot watch reference, 42mm might still be ok. But I do find it ver... 

For the watch, like you side, it is un-Patek which to me is the charm. I actually had a co-worker commented "Nice watch" yesterday when I wore it at work and when asked about the details, he googled it and was floored.... Thanks a lot Daniel.
