Have you had an opportunity to put a 5010 on your wrist recently? If not I think you need to do that as it should tell you whether that emotional connection is still there and whether or not it's time to move on. My bias towards moving forward does not me...

That point alone Mike may make it feel like a different watch and if it does you may find as you say the watch doesn't have the same allure.
