About your golf question, I didn't have the perfect answer but from my readings over the years, the vibrations are quite significant (more than the G issue). I've been wearing my Zenith for a long while for golfing without problem (I didn't know back then) but now I would avoid wearing expensive mechanical watches. Just my opinion!

My opinion
5960 is never really going to be a sports watch. With its 3 bar water resistence, you cannot even afford to take a shower with it. Besides, it cannot be compared to the Daytona in terms of robustness. It is you that can decide how sporty you need it to be...

I also have a Quartz Tag Heuer for that - but I guess the watchprosite police would have me arrested for that. I have not looked closely into Tudor before, but that one was really nice!
tudor is very good value! I would pick a tudor and join the list for the Daytona :)

An interesting dilemma
I well recall you saying just that Nicolas when here in HK. I still have a soft spot for the 1A but I'm not sure I see it as a sports watch in quite the same way as the Daytona.

5960 is a beautiful watch with usable annual calendar on top of the chrono feature. The only thing I dislike is band, which is something a new bracelet/band can easily fix.
