I have certain issues about each different metal. Firstly the color of pure gold is yellow, therefore the 5970 J is gold in its truest form. Yet the higher demand is for the white(G) gold and rose (R) gold as evidenced by the pricing in the secondary mark...

100k for a plated watch.......I sure hope the 5970G is not a plated gold...hahahaha IIRC, it is rhodium plated to be more scratch resistant. You should get a 5970P...it will go beautifully with your 3970P. One silver and one black Cheers, CL

Agreed. Gold in its truest form is yellow.Match that to the cream like opaline dial is best thus giving the above its oustanding vintage look..Frankly I would say that all the 4 metals are outstanding but this yellow stands out best. In my view the Platin...
