hi there im not sure if this is true but i find that most people rave and love all about the 5970 g and r and p but it seems that people have forgot about the yellow gold model not alot of of talk about it again i might be worng but i do own the watch and... 

BUT the 5970 is THE exception. For me the 5970 is the most beautifull 5970, if I could afford such a piece it would be the 5970J ... 100% sure !

I'd much rather have P or G. But saying all that I congratulate you, on owning what imo is an exceptional watch. How about posting us a photo of it.

is my favourite too I think it is beautiful and looks like a vintage. Only bit of downside is ...it looks like a vintage but it is not. J and G are my most fav, followed very closely by R and then P. They are all good, just personal preference of metal an... 

I have certain issues about each different metal. Firstly the color of pure gold is yellow, therefore the 5970 J is gold in its truest form. Yet the higher demand is for the white(G) gold and rose (R) gold as evidenced by the pricing in the secondary mark... 

100k for a plated watch.......I sure hope the 5970G is not a plated gold...hahahaha IIRC, it is rhodium plated to be more scratch resistant. You should get a 5970P...it will go beautifully with your 3970P. One silver and one black Cheers, CL

Agreed. Gold in its truest form is yellow.Match that to the cream like opaline dial is best thus giving the above its oustanding vintage look..Frankly I would say that all the 4 metals are outstanding but this yellow stands out best. In my view the Platin... 

the 4 choices. The P would be my next choice followed by the R then G. Seeing all four version in person, the yellow gold against the creme dial happens to make the most stunning combination IMO. Congrats on acquiring such a special piece, I hope to have ... 

The dial on the 5970J is not cream colored but actually a silvery opaline that is gorgeous with the yellow gold. I didn't think I'd like this combination until I saw it in the metal.
