First off, hand winding automatic watches daily should not be done. Period.
Hand winding any auto watch causes part or all of the auto to spin very fast in a way they are not designed for.
I have often recommended against watch winders because they cause unnecessary wear and tear. Imagine leaving your car to run 24hrs a day in the garage. The exception is a perpetual watch, some models can be difficult to adjust to the correct date (IWC Da Vinci is a good example).
It's ok to wind them very slowly to get them started but that's it.
Both the ETA 2824 and 2892 are very prone to damage from this due to the complex reverser wheels in these designs.
Rolex use a different reverser wheel design, which like all Rolex construction, is very strong.
The PP 315, 330, 324, whilst been more resiliant than many other brands, is still prone to wear if hand wound daily.
The wig-wag pinion is a good design but bear in mind PP movements are very slim.
Comparing PP to Rolex is like comparing a Bugatti Veyron to a Hummer:)
PP is a sleek, precise, highly complicated work of art. Rolex is a tank designed for diving to the bottom of a deep sea trench.
PP movements are also up to 1/3 thinner and much more complicated.
You say several years, I hope you are servicing your watches every 3-5 years!
I haven't been able to find exploded
view images on the internet for PP 315 etc.
On this forum is a PP 240 view.
Books I can recommend are
'Patek Philippe Geneve by Martin Huber & Alan Banbury' This book is about ten years old but has some good exploded diagrams, not the 315 though.
If you want the WOSTEP nitty gritty
'The Theory Of Horology, WOSTEP'.
If you want pure watch porn, get 'Movement by Guido Mocafica'. This coffee table book is just gorgeous.
For amazing history try
'The Illustrated Longitude by Dava Sobel and William J. H. Andrews'
This book makes a visit to the Greenich museum amazing.
I've only just joined this forum a few days ago so I hope I've helped. It might take me a day or two but feel free to hit me up or pass this answer on to others.
Unfortunately I can't provide any technical diagrams or guides from PP. I have almost a meter high pile of great stuff but corporate espionage is taken pretty seriously in this industry;) lol.
That's why I thought you might like the PP book I suggested.
Good luck
