First, congratulations on this acquisition:
this two-tone Hausmann signed ref. 130 is quite something.
As for your question, I’d personally hunt for an authentic period correct PP steel pin buckle, as I think it was missing when MLG sold it last June. And I would choose a brownish leather strap (which kind of leather, I’m uncertain).
I might be completely wrong, but I’m not sure if a Gay Frères bracelet would suit this particular watch very well.

Brown alligator strap with a platinum deployant clasp.
Yes the clasp won’t be period correct but it will add to the quirkiness of multi-metal and multi-color effect. That’s is one heck of a 130 by the way.

At one stage I made the same custom strap for every watch in my collection
I quickly grew tired of it, not only because the strap didn’t work well with some of the watches, but every watch ended up looking kind of the same (we some times take for granted how much visual space a strap takes up in relation to the watch as a whole)...
For me, watch by watch is the way to go.

look 👀 you want ! More sporty or more traditional ? Bracelet for sporty and strap for traditional. Let us know what you decide and share wrist shots !
It works well for me!
Maybe a lighter brown would pair well with the rose gold bezel and other elements. The watch is very nice. Best, Emmanuel
