40mm looks perfect
The new 40mm size is perfect for your wrist. I feel the 31-32mm size looks too small. I have a similar size wrist and the 5168s and 5524s are perfect as well. Wear the new 6007 in good health and Congrats!
For a 6.5" wrist, these 'smaller' watches are perfect for you.
I would wear them easily with a 7.25-inch wrist. The great thing about 'smaller' watches is that they are not as sought after...and there are good values on some really fantastic pieces.

Saw it in your post the other day. But man, 30 is just out of the question for me. The proportions though of the dial to movement and the placement of the small seconds on that one, are better than some of their new stuff. In my opinion.

Certainly this size30mm is small, compared to modern the lug interval of #96 is 18 it is well balanced for male use. on the Contraly #7200R is 33mm size but lug interval is narrow and fits for ladys wrist I think ...
