Similarity…. Well while basically they couldn’t be more different, they do share an essential similarity. They are both full calendar watches with the moonphase function. To me they are perfect complementary types.
One is pure vintage, a full PC, almost 50 years old, rare, iconic, in a precious metal, can’t be quick set, no see thru back, no seconds hand, a great dress watch and an absolute delight.
The other is in steel, totally modern, an AC, can be quick set (a huge plus), see thru back, sweep seconds hand (so there is always motion on the dial), water resistant and sporty.
If one loves calendar watches I think these 2 examples collectively offer variety and versatility for almost any mood or occasion.
Are there any 2 watches you own that you feel complement each other well - whether it be functionally, aesthetically or versatility or for any other reasons.
