I too am seriously looking at getting the very same 5205G, and though it is very early days, I would very much appreciate your views and feelings. Perhaps you would be kind enough to PM me your thoughts?
Having just returned, from a two day trip to visit Patek, I had the full pleasure to view and try on virtually the whole collection, which of course included the 5131.
If only I travelled more, then maybe a W/T would be for me.
Please don't leave it sealed for tooooooooooooooooooooooooo long!

Usually the Pateks come to me already opened. For some reason I just can't bring myself to cut open the plastic on that one.....just yet. Maybe when the 5131G arrives.=)
Frankly...
They are both so beautiful that I'm hard-pressed to know which would go into a safe. But knowing me, I could never be away from either of those beauties for too long....

Enjoy & wear it while its on warranty
That way if somehow its got a quirk its on their dime, Be a shame to decide to wear it after warrantty, discover a problem and have to shell out $$$$
