Don't worry, I made the same mistake.
I bought 5167 with bracelet and later the strap + folding clasp. I sold the watch because there was somebody else's name on the Certificate and bought (nearly with the same money) a new from Tiffany. However, this time I did not take the bracelet because the whole idea of Aquanaut is the rubber strap matching the dial. With the rubber strap it must be one of the most comfy watches on earth!

Yes, you can change from bracelet to rubber strap and vice versa. The rubber strap is reasonably priced by Patek standards but the folding clasp is not. But if you have both bracelet and rubber, you will have like two different watches. Best, Kari

If you have a 5167/1a (steel bracelet), you can buy a rubber band with buckle for interchange. However, if you buy a 5167a (rubberband), you CANNOT buy a steel bracelet in general. Cheers
