Hello all, I was hoping to get the groups's impression of this model. I couldn't find many previously expressed opinions besides those of Dr Kol, whose opinion carries much weight and which he positively expressed in past posts. I'd appreciate others' opi...  

It is a travel time, not a world time, which may explain why it lived in the shadow of its sister. I would rather go for a 5110. Best, and welcome here, by the way. Nicolas

I found from Germany a sealed 5134P which was originally sold in 2004. I bought it and sold my old one. Today I asked the master watchmaker of Patek Salon to open the package and check if the watch requires service after being wrapped for over 10 years. T... 

And the picture is mine, I added it to illustrate the post, I didn't find quickly the Pt one. It is interesting to see the watch is still ok for using after the oil have passed 10 years unused. Good to know Cheers, Mark

I owned a 5134g. It was a newer version than the one in your photo, which has the arabic numerals at the 3-6-9. I traded it for a 5110p, which I love, but I often regret not having the 5134 and frequently consider getting another if the right one comes al...  

Descartes captured my sentiments nicely. It is the uniqueness (and coolness) which allows it to be dressed up/down (as opposed to my 5726a...which I love...but is more on the sportier side). And I also like that the side panels give it a bit of a bigger p... 

either as a less sophisticated world time type piece or, as I see it, a superb improvement over the basic Calatrava. The great thing about these is the relative affordability and simplicity and actually quite rare its a no brainer buy it...before I do.. B... 

Kari also has high praise. The last question which I had put to him since he has one is about the 37mm size. I do understand that it looks to wear a bit larger than the quoted size. But I've grown partial to a minimum 39mm diameter pieces. But I understan... 

I wear a variety of sizes from 36mm DJ to a 44mm PAM. For what it is, the 37mm 5134 or 5110 is a perfect size. I prefer sport watches a bit larger, and dress watches a bit smaller. Maybe these photos give you sense of the 37mm proportions as worn casually...

The movement is a tad smaller, even for a 37 mm case. Hence the centered subdials. And if you have a look at the case back, it would have been better with a solid one. The 5110 is more harmonious. But that doesn't mean that the 5134 lacks charm. I like th... 

but in the actual watch it does not look too bad. For me this watch represents a kind of perfection and the size of the movement does not disturb at all. If I compare this i.e. with World Time, Travel Time's complication works much better in real life lik...
