Two weeks ago I unsealed my double sealed 5970J. I did it with some trepidation. I had been advised by an extremely high level watchmaker at Patek, that after 14 years of sitting in a state of hibernation, while the watch would run it was extremely unlike...

This is a rare bird in yellow gold, I think. What an honor to cut the seals after so long... All the best for 2024!

If it was possible, I would always buy two watches of each model: one to enjoy and the other one to keep untouched 😅

If I am not mistaken the yellow gold model is the rarest of the gold models! Enjoy this amazing timepiece - a testament of Patek at its best!
